The Rev. Dr. Suzannah L. Rohman, Rector

Live in: Southington, Connecticut

Been at St. Paul's since: 2009

Suzannah was born and raised in Waterville, Maine. She received a BA in history from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and a Masters in Divinity from the General Theological Seminary in Manhattan. She began her ordained ministry in 1999 as the assistant rector in Maumee, OH at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. From 2001-2003 she served as the assistant rector of St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church in Newark, DE. From 2003-2009 she was the associate rector of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Arlington, VA. In 2009 she received her Doctor of Ministry in Congregational Development from Seabury Western Seminary in Evanston, IL. Suzannah loves the Episcopal way of being Christian and is passionate about finding ways to be an Episcopal Christian in the 21st century. In her spare time she loves reading, walking, making pottery, relaxing with friends, playing with her two cats, Theo and Chelsea, and watching home improvement TV shows.

What I like most about St. Paul’s: This community loves children and youth. Children and youth are not just present in this congregation; they are full participants and members of this community. My second favorite thing about St. Paul’s is that we know how to laugh. We like each other and we have fun together. We know how to make a joyful to noise to the Lord.

Michael Cooper, Senior Warden

Live in: Southington, Connecticut

Been at St. Paul’s since: 2003

Activities and ministries at St. Paul’s: Senior Warden and J2A Youth Leader. I have served as a member of the Vestry and the Stewardship Committee, and am currently on the Board of Wheeler Village. I also thoroughly enjoy the activities of our Young Adults Group.

What I like most about St. Paul’s: The people. When attending my first service at St. Paul's after my family moved to Southington, I instantly felt the warmth and welcoming spirit of our church community. I love the fact that we have a wide array of ministries and planned activities. I believe this enables everyone to find something of interest to participate in, and thus further strengthens the church. I feel blessed to be a part of the St. Paul's Family.
